My family evacuated for Hurricane Matthew in 2016. Matthew made landfall just south of Beaufort and there was significant damage to our area. The day we returned, I walked out to look at the marsh and was rewarded with a beautiful, glowing sunset. It reminded me that there is always calm after a storm.
